SAS Nagar, April 13 - The auspicious day of Khalsa Sajna Day was celebrated with full devotion and pomp in various Gurudwaras of the city today. In this regard, special religious functions were conducted in different Gurugharas in the morning after the Akhand Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. During which the congregation was entertained with Gurbani Kirtan and Gurmat thoughts by various ragi dhadi groups and story tellers. Guru's langar was served in abundance.

Historical Gurudwara Amb Sahib, Gurudwara Sacha Dhan Sahib Phase 3B1, Gurudwara Bibi Bhani Phase 7, Gurudwara Sri Kalgidhar Singh Sabha Phase 4, Gurudwara Sri Sahibwara Phase 5, Gurudwara Sri Ramgarhia Sabha Phase 3B1, Gurudwara Sri Singh Sabha Phase 11, Gurudwara Sri Singh Sabha Sector 68, Gurudwara Sri Singh Sabha Phase 1, including special decorations on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Day were made in different Gurughars and devotees were attending the Guru Ghar since morning.

A special religious event was organized on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Day at the historical Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan of the nearby village of Sohana. During which Bibi Amandeep Kaur International Dhadi Jatha of Bibis from Ludhiana, Bhai Jatinder Singh Hazuri Ragi Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Shiromani Pracharak Bhai Charanjit Singh (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Bhai Manpreet Singh Ludhiana, Bibi Gurdeep Kaur, Miri Piri Panthak Dhadi Jatha, Bhai Jatinder Singh Damdami Taksal, Bhai Sandeep Singh Sri Anandpur Sahib Wale, Bhai Gurwinder Singh, Bhai Gurdeep Singh, Bhai Jaswinder Singh, Apart from the Jathas of Gurudwara Singh Shaheeds, Ragi Jatha Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Jaswant Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh and Bhai Sukhwinder Singh enthralled the Sangat by reciting Harijs throughout the day through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishari and Gurmat thoughts.

Vashal Amrit Sanchar was organized on this day. In which a large number of mortals drank the nectar of Khande Bate and became gurus. The patients were examined by expert doctors of each department and a service management committee was formed to give medicine. On this occasion, chabeel of sugarcane juice, jalebis and Guru ka langar were served to the devotees throughout the day.
