While awarding degrees to 284 students, Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare wished the students all the best for their future life and emphasized on skills, competence and a positive outlook in life. He said that convocation is an important milestone in one's life. He asked the graduates to be grateful to everyone who helped and guided them during their college years. He shared his experiences at the time of graduation and advised the students to equip themselves to face the world.
The event started with the arrival of the academicians in the hall. At the beginning of the program, the college song was played and after that the candle was lit. On this occasion, Dr. Vanita Rani welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries present. The college principal presented the college report highlighting the activities and achievements of the students of the college throughout the year.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Ram Kumar, Coordinator of the event, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Dr. Parminder Singh (Retired Deputy Director), Dr. Gurdeep Batra from Guru Nanak Dev Open University, Dr. Neelamjit Kaur (Ret. Principal), Mr. Arun Bansal (renowned industrialist) were present on this occasion. Member of Alumni (Global) Association, CA Rajeev Goyal, Mr. Tarsem Bansal, Advocate Umesh Ghai PTA Member, Ed Shusheel Kumar Sharma, Ms. Bhupinder Kaur, Ms. Radhika Seth, HEIS Governing Body Member, Mr. BP Dhiman, Prof. Indu Sharma along with Teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were present.
