Ludhiana - An "Environment Conservation" fair was organized at Ishmit Singh Sangeet Academy, Ludhiana. This fair was organized by Budha Darya Action Committee and Public Action Committee. In which many organizations involved in environmental protection participated. Along with other organizations, Mr. Karamjit Singh Kanth, president of the Mission Evergreen organization, said that Mission Evergreen also set up its stall in this fair. In which the people were made aware about the conservation of water and environment. Apart from this, various types of saplings were also distributed free by the mission. Apart from the president Mr. Kanth, Mr. Nirmal Singh, Mr. Charanjit Singh Kanth, Mr. Gurvinder Singh Panesar etc. members participated in this fair from the Mission. In this environment fair, Mr. Milkha Singh Aulakh (ret. vice chancellor), special advisor of Mission Evergreen explained about the greatness of water, soil and air through his very passionate speech. He said that if we continue to misuse water and pollute the air, the day is not far when we will face very dangerous consequences. Apart from this, prizes were distributed to the winners by conducting a painting competition on the topic of environmental conservation.
