Saroa : After the central government gave 53% DA to its employees, Himachal Haryana and Rajasthan governments have also announced to give 53% DA to their employees.
Talking to the media in this regard, the employee leader Sardar Bagicha Singh Rakkar said that keeping Diwali in mind, the central government and other state governments have given 53% DA to the employees. While the Punjab government has so far given 38% to its employees. It is expecting votes from the employee class only by giving it, while the employees are struggling for their demands such as restoration of old pension and other 37 types of other allowances of the Centre. He said that DA has been given to IP IAS IPS IRS and other judicial officers serving in Punjab state by the Central Government but other officials and employees of Punjab state have been deprived of 12% DA. Appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann to pay DA dues from 01-01-2023 to 30-06-2024 before Diwali and festival so that employees can celebrate Diwali with joy.
