I am committed to make Punjab a debt-free, progressive and prosperous state: Bhagwant Mann

Patiala, March 11 - Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today said that the state government is making continuous efforts to make Punjab a debt-free, progressive and prosperous state. Addressing the gathering during the 'Government-Business Meet' here today, the Chief Minister said that due to the bad policies of the previous governments, the state had inherited a debt pile, but his government would make all possible efforts to get the state out of these crises. Concrete efforts are already being made for this.

Patiala, March 11 - Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today said that the state government is making continuous efforts to make Punjab a debt-free, progressive and prosperous state. Addressing the gathering during the 'Government-Business Meet' here today, the Chief Minister said that due to the bad policies of the previous governments, the state had inherited a debt pile, but his government would make all possible efforts to get the state out of these crises. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the two-year budget shows good things including increase in revenue in the state and this trend will continue in the coming days. He said that "Punjab is witnessing such joyous events for the first time. Before this, only political mud was thrown at each other in the events, but now joyous celebrations are being celebrated in such events. For the first time, traders from the state They have become an integral part of decision making to take us to the point of success.” Due to the good intentions of the government, new schools are opening today, new hospitals are being built, 90 percent of the houses are being given free electricity, more than 43000 people have been given jobs.
  He said that there was a lack of intention during the previous governments due to which the state has lagged behind in terms of progress Bhagwant Singh Mann said that now the state government is exposing the anti-Punjab face of the previous governments. The Chief Minister said that these leaders are opportunists who switch sides only for their own interests. He said that the only agenda of these leaders is to fit their family members in politics but they were repeatedly rejected by the people. 6
The Chief Minister said, “Punjabis are successful all over the world but due to the backward policies of these politicians, they could not climb the ladder of success in the state. He said that these leaders have ruined the state for their own interests and ruthlessly looted the wealth of Punjab. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is for this reason that the people of Punjab have defeated these leaders and put them at home.
The Chief Minister said that during the previous governments, the people of the state were afraid of being successful because the political leaders forcibly took part in their business. He said that these leaders robbed the people and their hands are stained with the blood of Punjab and Punjabis. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that now there is a government of common people in the state which is giving every person a chance to succeed in life.
The Chief Minister said that the traditional parties are jealous of him because he belongs to a simple family. Bhagwant Mann said that these political leaders believe that they have a divine right to be in power, due to which they cannot digest why a common man is running the state in a wonderful manner. He said that these leaders have been fooling the people for a long time but now people will not follow their false propaganda.
The Chief Minister said that these leaders are a new class of unemployed, whose worthless performance has pushed them into political oblivion. Bhagwant Singh Maan said that the people of the state have turned the traditional political parties that form the government after every five years from power by turning like 'Uttar Kato, Mein Charahan'. The Chief Minister said that this year's budget presents a vision of a progressive and 'colorful Punjab'. The Chief Minister said that his government has been given an opportunity to serve by the people and he will work hard to live up to the expectations of the people. Bhagwant Singh Mann asked the opposition to refrain from criticism and let them work for the welfare of Punjab. The chief minister said, “The credit goes to Arvind Kejriwal for bringing change in politics and bringing the common man on the agenda of political parties. Instead of manifestos or election manifestos, political parties are now giving welfare guarantees to the people. I have always been in favor of making the manifesto of any party a legal document so that political parties cannot cheat the common man.”
The Chief Minister said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, political leaders have started offering relief to the people and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reduction in LPG prices is a living example of this. The Chief Minister said that the e-bus service launched in Patiala city will help usher in a new era of progress and prosperity in the city. He said that these buses will run from the old bus stand of the city and will provide great convenience to the people. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this would pave the way for unprecedented growth and prosperity in the city by boosting trade and business. At the time of this meeting, two cabinet ministers of Punjab, Chetan Singh Jaudamajra and Dr. Balbir Singh were also present.
