Patiala General strike of class III and IV employees and Lab Attendants (LA) was held in Government Medical College Patiala on 18/7/25. It was attended by prominent leaders of the employees, Subba President Comrade Darshan Singh Lubana ji, Jagmohan Singh No Lakha ji, Ram Lal Rama ji, Rajesh Kumar Golu, Des Raj, Mahendra Singh Sidhu etc.
On this occasion, Comrade Parminder Kamboj, President of Class IV employees of Medical College Patiala and his team, which included Rajinder Bhola, Balag Ram, Anil Kumar, Kamaljit Kaur, Vijay Bhatnagar, Bharbhur Singh, Kamal Kant etc. were felicitated. On this occasion, a 'Coordination Struggle Committee' of Government Medical College, Rajindra Hospital, TB Hospital, Ayurvedic College, Dental Hospital was formed which will make efforts regarding the demands and problems of the employees of Research and Medical Education Department.
It included Convener President Rajesh Kumar Golu Rajindra Hospital Patiala, Convener President Vikram Singh Atwal Medical College Patiala, President Lakhvir Singh Ayurvedic Hospital Patiala, Chief Advisor President Parminder Kamboj Medical College Patiala, Co-Convener Pradeep Kumar Dental Hospital Patiala, Co-Convener Ashley Gill TB Hospital Patiala, General Secretary Des Raj Rajindra Hospital Patiala, Treasurer Mahinder Singh Sidhu Rajindra Hospital Patiala.
Similarly, a committee of laboratory attendant employees was formed in which President Vikram Singh Atwal, Vice President Gurjinder Singh, General Secretary Rohit Chauhan, Treasurer Ramandeep Kaur, Press Secretary Akshay Kumar, Chairman Sanjeev Kumar etc. were included.
On this occasion, State President Comrade Darshan Singh Lubana appealed to all the employees to join the flag march on 15/08/25 and submit a memorandum to the administration so that strong pressure can be exerted on the demands like regularization of raw material allowance, restoration of 2004 pension, and dearness allowance and pay commission arrears etc.
