Hoshiarpur - As per the guidelines of Health Department Punjab and Civil Surgeon Dr. Balwinder Kumar Damana, an awareness camp was organized today at Vardhaman Spinning Mill under the able leadership of District Tuberculosis Officer Hoshiarpur Dr. Shakti Sharma under the TB Free India Abhiyan program. In which the mill workers participated. Dr. Shakti Sharma gave detailed information about TB disease to the gathered people. He said that a person who has cough for more than two weeks, fever, loss of appetite, weight loss or blood in the sputum should go to their nearest health center and get their sputum checked. should These tests are done absolutely free at government health institutes. In these tests, if someone is diagnosed with TB, he is treated free of cost in a government hospital. The patient is also given money every month for food by the government. Dr. Sharma said that TB is an infectious disease which is spread from one person to another through breathing. Therefore, it should be examined and treated as soon as there is time.
