Una, March 5 - District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal, while giving information regarding the printing of pamphlets and posters in view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, said that hoardings, cutouts, pamphlets, posters, banners, hand bills and appeals etc. will be used for the election campaign. Printing is done on a large scale. Jatin Lal, under sub-sections 1 and 2 of Section 127A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, will have to submit four copies of the printed material to the office of the concerned Returning Officer within three days of the printing of such documents. He said that punitive action as per rules can be taken against those who disobey the orders.
