Nawanshahr - Shaheed Bhagat Singh United Sports Club dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, organized two days of Kabaddi team competitions. In which all the playing teams gave excellent performances.
The final match was played between the teams of DAB College Jalandhar (California) and Mata Daljit Kaur Maripur Baghapurana (UK). In which the team of DAV College Jalandhar won and got the first prize of 2 lakh rupees. The second runner up team of Mata Daljit Kaur Maripur Baghapurana received a prize of Rs 1-50 lakh. Frayad Bhagwanpur, who scored 8 points in 9 raids, was awarded the best raider. Nanni Cut scored 7 points in 7 kabaddi games. Sachin Ganguly, who scored 11 touches and 9 hugs, was awarded the title of the best stopper.
