Nawanshahr - President of Guru Nanak Mission Medical and Educational Trust Dhahan Kleran S. Kulwinder Singh Dhahan was honored with the title of Doctor of Philosophy. This honor was given by the University of Maryland, USA, for his services in the field of education under his leadership. He is returning after receiving this honor during the convocation held at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi today.
     While conferring the degree, University Registrar Charles A. Von Joyes said that such awards duly attest to the services of the concerned in creating a conducive environment in the society. This good news will prove to increase the pride of the social sector. Along with this, all the representatives of the management trust, all the employees of the missionary institutions of Dhahan Clares and all the good thinkers associated with this madrasa of education/health are equally congratulatory.
         After this, Dr. Kulwinder Singh Dhahan said that this honor will prove to be an inspiration for forty years of grassroots involvement in education and health.
