
There will be a permanent solution to the problem of rainwater in Purhira: Bram Shankar Jimpa.
Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today laid the foundation stone of a drain to be built for the drainage of rainwater in the Purhira area of ??Ward No. 19, taking a step towards solving the long-standing problem of this area. He said that since one street in Purhira was much lower than the main road, water used to fill up here during the rainy season, due to which people had to face a lot of trouble.

Due to the lack of a permanent solution to the drainage of water, not only the movement of people was affected, but the local residents were also at risk of health problems. He said that in view of the problem of the public, a decision has been taken to construct a drain in this area, on which about Rs 40 lakh will be spent. MLA Jimpa said that this work will prove to be a milestone in providing permanent relief to the local residents.
He said that the Punjab Government and the Municipal Corporation are continuously working for the convenience and development of the public. In this regard, the Municipal Corporation will carry out work at a cost of Rs. 3 crore to improve the main roads of the city.
