The 75th Republic Day of Independence was celebrated with great pomp in government schools of Mukerian block today. The block level function was held at Aryan Senior Secondary School Mukerian where Honorable SDM C Ashok Kumar hoisted the tricolor. Students of government schools in Block Mukerian presented patriotic songs.
Similarly, block level event of block Hajipur was organized at Government Senior Secondary School Hajipur Where the flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Mrs. Harjit Kaur, the Chairperson of the School Management Committee and wished the students a Happy Republic Day. In this event celebrated under the chairmanship of Mr. Parminder Gill, Lecturer Bio, the students presented a colorful program of the patriotic Gita. Mr. Narinder Singh, Lecturer, Physical Education, played the role of the stage manager. On this occasion, all the staff distributed laddoos to the students. Lecturers Krisan Kumar, Madam Ritu, Krishna, Sudha, Savita, Amita Madam, Harminder Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur, Gurdayal Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Vijender Singh, Jagjit Singh, Manjit Singh, Vachitar Singh, Bhagwan Das and Manoj Kumar were present on this auspicious occasion.
