Patiala, January 22 - Dr. Vikrant Singh, Joint Director, Directorate of Wheat Development, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, inspected the crop of wheat and cabbage mustard in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Rauni, Department of Agriculture, Patiala, District Patiala.

Patiala, January 22 - Dr. Vikrant Singh, Joint Director, Directorate of Wheat Development, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, inspected the crop of wheat and cabbage mustard in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Rauni, Department of Agriculture, Patiala, District Patiala.
   Giving detailed information about this, Dr. Jaswinder Singh said that under the guidelines of the Director Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Punjab, the team at Birarwal village of Patiala district of farmer Pradeep Singh's cabbage mustard GSC-7 plot and farmer Avtar Singh's wheat variety. - Inspection of cabbage mustard GSC-7 and organically produced wheat and other crops of farmer Narinder Singh at Dittupur village. On this occasion, Dr. Vikrant Singh shared the technical points related to these crops with the present farmers and uploaded the data of the farmers on the portal of the Government of India.
   Dr. Vikrant Singh told about the condition of the crops that mustard and wheat crops are very good and a good yield is expected. Dr. Vikrant Singh asked Krishi Science Center scientists Dr. Rachna Singla, Dr. Rajni Goyal and Dr. Hardeep Singh Subhikhi to upload the data of other plots on the NFSM portal.
On this occasion, Agriculture Development Officer Dr. Gurmail Singh and Agriculture Extension Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Singh Chatha shared the data of wheat sown by variety in the district and other information regarding the agriculture of the district with the representatives of the Government of India.
