
Dairy Development Department organized a milk producer awareness camp at village Sehra.
Patiala, November 14 - Under the leadership of Deputy Director Dairy Development, Patiala Dalbir Kumar, the department organized a milk producer awareness camp at village Sehra block, Rajpura district, Patiala. On this occasion, Dalbir Kumar gave information about various schemes being run by the department such as two-week and four-week training, subsidy under DD-8 loan scheme for 2 to 20 cattle.

Along with this, farmers were made aware about not burning stubble. Milkfed's Purchase Manager (Retd) Gurmail Singh Rathore gave information to the milk producers about the increase and decrease in milk fat, SNF. And in addition, information was provided about making products from milk. Kulwinder Singh Dairy Development Inspector gave information about the animal insurance scheme, feed and fodder scheme and planning of green fodder throughout the year.
Dr. Mohan Sharma, Veterinary Inspector Retired, informed the milk producers about the prevention of animal diseases and care of heifers/heifers. Lakhmir Singh, Dairy Development Inspector, informed about the production of clean milk and the importance of cattle shed and arranged a camp.
