Garhshankar - Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab organized an honor ceremony under the chairmanship of Founder President Satish Kumar Soni. In which Senior Vice President Lakhwinder Kumar and District President Jaspreet Kaur were present. During this special honor was given to Harbhajan Lal Saroa family.
On this occasion, the president of the society, Satish Kumar Soni, said that this honor was given to Harbhajan Lal Saroa and Surinder Kaur Saroa by going to their house during the Lohri of their granddaughter Jap Rehmat Kaur being celebrated by the Saroa family. It is worth mentioning that the Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab has been putting lohri of daughters for seven consecutive years since last 2017. The results of which are seeing very big changes in the entire society today Today, in homes where earlier only the son's lohri was used, today Harbhajan Lal Saroa has removed this difference by giving equal respect to the son and daughter by receiving the granddaughter's lohri.
On this occasion, District President Jaspreet Kaur said that daughters are given full respect in Adarsh Social Welfare Society. And as a result, today I am occupying the position of district president, which is a matter of pride for me. Lakhvinder Kumar, senior vice president of the society, said that our society makes efforts for the bright future of girls. And daughters who have made a name for themselves in different fields are also honored.
