Rajpura, 11/01/25- The Fikramand Welfare Society will organize a grand event of 'Dhiyan Di Lohri' on 12th January 2025 at Satyanarayan Mandir, Rajpura. This event is dedicated to daughters and women, in which their contribution and importance in the society will be honored.
Nitin Khurana, President of the Society said, "We have been celebrating 'Dhiyan Di Lohri' for the last 5 years. It has become a festival of not just one institution but of the entire Rajpura. This is a special initiative for the empowerment of daughters and women."
He said that women are considered respectable in our society. This event is being organized to end discrimination between men and women.
On this occasion, Society member Ramesh Babla said that this program has been organized to honor women, in which the whole of Rajpura has been invited. With the participation of the Society, this event will become even more inspiring. Many dignitaries will attend the event, among whom DC Patiala and Chairperson of Punjab Women Commission have been specially invited.
