An awareness camp was organized at Urapar under Drug Free India campaign

Nawanshahr - Red Cross De-addiction and Rehabilitation Center Nawanshahr organized an awareness camp at Panchayat Ghar of village Urapar under "Nsha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan". Which was chaired by Sh Surinder Singh Sarpanch. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Chaman Singh Project Director said that the land of Punjab has always given birth to brave warriors but some people are endangering the future of Punjab by putting the youth on the path of drugs for their own benefit.

  He said that diseases caused by the use of drugs such as HCV, HIV, liver diseases, poor eyesight etc. are serious diseases. Presenting her thoughts on this occasion, Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, Councilor said that we should pay special attention to children and reach their school so that they do not fall into bad company because the physical, intellectual and mental development of children is affected due to drugs. is Due to addiction, they are alienated from society and family. He gave information about the Red Cross De-addiction Center Nawanshahr and its admission process. He said that drug addicts are treated absolutely free. And no abuse is done to any addict. On this occasion, advocate Daljit Singh Urapar also expressed his views on drugs. Mahinder Singh Panch, Sunita Devi, Harminder Kaur, Gurmeet Kaur, Akwinder Kaur, Praveen Devi (all Anganwadi workers), Mandeep Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur Asha worker and other villagers were present on this occasion.
