Hoshiarpur - Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society organized a brief event under the chairmanship of President and eminent social worker Sanjeev Arora in which District Health Officer Dr. Lakhvir Singh was specially present. On this occasion, President Sanjiv Arora said that to teach a lesson to those who play with people's health, Dr. Lakhvir Singh is continuously conducting raids in Hoshiarpur district. This is a very commendable work. Mr. Arora said that such honest and hardworking officers are needed in every department.
Everyone should act like Dr Lakhveer and set an example so that the adulterers and those who play with people's lives can be taught a lesson. Mr. Arora appealed to the Punjab government to issue orders on the lines of Hoshiarpur district and other districts of Punjab to send those who are playing with the health of the people behind bars. JB Bahl said that in the past, Dr. Lakhvir Singh's arrest of fast food, halwai and paneer carts in the city is a commendable step. He said that adulteration is a big threat to human life and people are going to diseases after consuming it.
On this occasion, Dr. Lakhveer Singh appreciated the work being done by Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society and thanked the society for honoring him. Dr. Lakhveer Singh said that the public interest work being done by him will continue in the same way as long as he has a job and he will continue to serve the people in the same way. Dr Lakhveer said that you have to be wise yourself so that those who sell adulterated goods cannot succeed in their purpose.
