Khalsa College organized a special Gurmati March dedicated to the martyrdom fortnight

Garhshankar - As part of the religious events dedicated to the martyrdom of Mata Gujar Kaur and Sahibjade by the staff and students of the educational institutions running under the management of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a ceremony dedicated to the martyrdom fortnight and a special Gurmati march was organized at Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar. In which the staff and students of Sri Teg Bahadur Khalsa Senior Secondary School Garhshankar participated.

Garhshankar - As part of the religious events dedicated to the martyrdom of Mata Gujar Kaur and Sahibjade by the staff and students of the educational institutions running under the management of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a ceremony dedicated to the martyrdom fortnight and a special Gurmati march was organized at Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar. In which the staff and students of Sri Teg Bahadur Khalsa Senior Secondary School Garhshankar participated.
At the College Gurdwara Sahib, the students and staff recited the words of Mr. Japuji Sahib and Mr. Choupai Sahib, Prof. Raideep Singh and student Jasleen Kaur sang Shabad. On this occasion, International Sikh preacher Giani Balveer Singh Changyara and JP Singh Circle in-charge of Sikh Missionary College Ludhiana sharing the history of martyrdom of Mata Gujar Kaur and Sahibjade with the congregation and taking inspiration from the history of martyrdom and instructing the youth not to commit murder. Motivated to decorate turbans by getting them done. Acting Principal of the college, Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, while speaking, shared the history of martyrdom of Mata Gujar Kaur and Sahibjade and inspired the students to take inspiration from the history of martyrdom.
In the special Gurmati march started from the college in the sound of Zaikarias, apart from the staff and students of the college, the staff and students of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa School Garhshankar, under the leadership of the school in-charge teacher Santosh Kumari, participated with saffron and blue turbans and dupattas. During the Gurmati March, Dr. Harvinder Kaur, Prof. Raideep Singh, Prof. Baldeep Kaur, students Amarjit Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Parminder Singh sang words related to martyrdom day.
Dhadi Kashmir Singh Kader, who was specially present on this occasion, shared the views of Gurmat regarding the Martyrdom Day. On the occasion of the end of Gurmati March at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Garhshankar, a tea langar was arranged by the Gurdwara Committee.
