Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Punjab Brahm Shankar Jimpa while paying homage to the four Sahibjadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji said that the example of Sahibjadas giving great sacrifice at a young age is not found anywhere in the history of the world. He said that it is the need of the hour to remember the great sacrifice of the younger Sahibjadas. He was addressing the residents and players of the area today during the 5th basketball tournament organized by the United Sports Club in the memory of the four Sahibjadas at village Maduli Brahmins.
  Meanwhile, he encouraged the youth to stay away from drugs and participate in sports activities and asked them to take inspiration from the sacrifice of the four Sahibjadas. The cabinet minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is working for the good of all while following the path shown by the Gurus and encouraging people to learn from the teachings of the Gurus and their great sacrifice. He said that by making Punjab drug free, the government is trying to connect the youth here with the development of the state, for which it is necessary to connect them with sports activities. He said that today's tournament was organized without any celebration in memory of Sahibjade and all the players and villagers paid homage to the sacrifice of Sahibjade. He said that the state government has already announced not to hold any happy event from December 20 to 30. He said that this initiative is a warm tribute to the great sacrifice of Dasham Pita's family by the state government. He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the mourning bugle will be sounded on December 27 during the martyrdom assembly in the entire state, during which people will pay homage to the great martyrdom of Sahibjade. He said that the month of December, during which the entire family of the tenth Patshah Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was martyred, is a month of mourning for the entire humanity. Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the holy sacrifice of Sahibjada inspires everyone to protect the nation and religion. His life devoted to the defense of religion will forever guide us. Guru Teg Bahadur ji gave his sacrifice for the protection of religion and following the path shown by him, the entire family of Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj ji became a sacrifice for the protection of religion. On this occasion, besides the officials of United Sports Club, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Mohanlal Chitton, Virender Sandhu, Advocate Rahul, Advocate Amarjot Saini, Tarun Arora and other dignitaries were also present.
