Bhunarheri (Patiala) December 20 - Gurmeet Singh Bittu, Vice Chairman of the Block Committee reviewed the ongoing development work in Shaheed Bhupinder Singh Park Bhunarheri. He said that the martyrdom of the martyrs can never be forgotten. The youth of our nearby village Surkra Farm was martyred in the Kargil war, in whose memory the Shaheed Bhupinder Singh Park was built twenty years ago. Due to the initiative of MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanamajra, the development works are continuously going on. He had arranged a grant of about three lakh rupees for the renovation of the Bhunarheri park. Walking tracks, fences, chairs for sitting and lights will also be installed in this park. Gurmeet Singh Bittu, President Gurmej Singh Master, Sarpanch Gurwinder Singh, Soni Sharma Bhunarheri, member Gurmeet Singh were present on this occasion.
