Patiala, December 19 - Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni released a poster showing the symptoms of swine flu and tips to prevent swine flu in the winter season to create awareness among the general public. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni said that there is no need to panic about a disease like swine flu and by taking a few precautions, the disease can be prevented from spreading. He was holding a review meeting with the officials of the health department regarding the precautions to be taken against swine flu. Additional Deputy Commissioner Anuprita Johal was also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Raminder Kaur said that in the winter season, the immunity of the people generally decreases due to which there is a risk of getting more diseases. He said that people should keep their body fully covered in winter season. He said that if you are sick, consult a doctor. He said that swine flu corners have also been created in hospitals for swine flu.
Dr. Raminder Kaur, giving information about the symptoms of swine flu, said that swine flu is a viral fever caused by the H1N1 virus, which is transmitted from one person to another through breathing. So, to avoid the disease, make sure to use a cloth or handkerchief over your mouth when coughing, sneezing and wash your hands frequently. On this occasion Dr. Divjot Singh, Dr. Sumit Singh, Dr. Shelley Jaitley, Dr. SJ Singh and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur were also present.
