Help groups were also encouraged to take up new work, so that their family income could increase.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajeev Verma said that the women of the city can also take loans to do their own work by forming self-help groups under this scheme. Apart from this, he encouraged the women making achar and papad at home under the PMME (Prindman Mantri Pharmaceutical of Micro Food Processing Enterprises) scheme to get maximum benefits by availing the scheme. At the end of the program, he appealed to urban needy women to form more groups, so that the maximum benefit of the schemes run by the government can be given to the group members and they can be run by the government for public welfare. Awareness can be made about the existing schemes.
