Recalling the struggle-filled, sad and painful life of Dr. Nelson Mandela, Principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar and retired training supervisor of Indian Red Cross Society Mr. Kaka Ram Verma said that Nelson Mandela, born on 18 July 1918 in a hut in Africa, received respect as the President of Africa.
Mandela inspired governments, religious and political leaders to eliminate hatred, violence, ego, greed and revenge from the heart, mind, feelings, thoughts and habits and make heroic efforts for the safety, respect, progress and prosperity of humanity.
He had to struggle against apartheid and racial discrimination for more than 50 years and suffered imprisonment for 27 years. He called the millions of children, youth, citizens and animals and birds dying due to the use of nuclear, chemical and atomic weapons that destroy humanity in the world as innocent and said that Indian history, culture and customs are great for saving humanity and the environment.
To make Mother Earth beautiful, clean, healthy, safe and prosperous, efforts should be made to decorate Mother Earth with flowers, fruits, clean air, balanced food, water and quality human education, knowledge, emotions, sanskars and environment by sowing seeds of love, compassion, patience, peace, non-violence and humility in every heart and mind.
To make Mother Earth beautiful, clean, healthy, safe and prosperous, qualities, knowledge and habits of love, compassion, honesty, patience, peace, contentment, non-violence, humility and tolerance should be developed in every heart and mind in place of bombs, gunpowder, hatred, violence and ego. Principal Mrs. Teachers expressed her gratitude to Kaka Ram Verma and said that he organizes programs to make the students and teachers contemplate, understand and meditate on the qualities and knowledge of great revolutionary and worthy persons of international level.
NSS Program Officer Ravinder Kaur, NCC Officer Sachna Sharma and Scout Guide teacher Deepak Soni, Program Coordinator Naresh Kumari and students paid tribute to Dr. Nelson Mandela and pledged that they will continue to share the ideals of their gurus, incarnations and sages with the students for the welfare of all.
