Patiala, November 30 - An AIDS awareness rally was organized at Government Rajindra Hospital on the occasion of World AIDS Day. The main objective of this rally was to ensure maximum participation of people towards HIV AIDS awareness. This rally was flagged off by Director Principal Dr. Rajan Singla, Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Raminder Kaur and Medical Superintendent Dr. Harnam Singh Rekhi from Rajindra Hospital, OPD Complex.
   An awareness rally organized by Disha Cluster, Patiala Punjab State AIDS Control Society and ART Center Patiala was taken out from Rajindra Hospital, Patiala to Fuhara Chowk Patiala. Around 250 students participated in the rally.
   Apart from this, staff of all ICTC centers of district Patiala, TI/NGOs also participated. Meanwhile, District TB/AIDS Control Officer Dr. Gurpreet Singh Nagra and District Immunization Officer Gurpreet Kaur also specially participated and encouraged the students.
   On this occasion, Dr. Sachin Kaushal (Nodal Officer, ART Center, Patiala), Dr. Mohanlal Rana (Senior Medical Officer, ART Center, Patiala), Dr. Krishan Singh (Medical Officer, ART Center, Patiala) and Dr. Sampurna Singh (Medical Officer, ART Centre, Patiala) and Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Nursing Superintendent Praveen Bala Sharma and Mr. Yadvinder Singh Virk, Nitin Chandla and Dr. Amanpreet Kaur from Disha Cluster, Patiala were also present during this rally.
