SAS Nagar, December 9 - District Unit of Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of District President Mr. Sanjiv Vashishth staged a dharna against the Congress Party of Phase 3/5 lights and Dheeraj Sahu's effigy was blown up by taking out a protest march against Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu of the Congress party (from whose house an amount of Rs. 300 crores has been recovered by the Income Tax Department officials).

On this occasion, Mr. Sanjiv Vashishth said that the Congress party is the mother party of corruption and its leaders have been arrested from time to time under the charges of corruption. He said that more than 300 crore rupees stashed in Dheeraj Sahu's house has been recovered which proves that this party is completely involved in corruption. He said that the people of the country have completely rejected the Congress and the Congress has suffered a heavy defeat during the assembly elections.

BJP leader Pawan Manocha, Mandal President Raman Kumar Sally, Jasminder Singh, Sanjeev Joshi, Diljit Singh Manana, Mill Garg, Mani Thakur, Colonel Bhupinder Shahi, Gagan Sharma, Navdeep Singh, Deepak Puri, Uma Kant Tiwari, Ashok Jha, Hardeep Baidwan, Major Singh, Abhishek Thakur, Rahul Sharma were also present.
