
Teej festival was celebrated with great pomp and show at SBS Model High School Sadarpur.
Garhshankar- This festival is celebrated to keep Punjabi culture and traditions alive. The program was started by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur Ji. The students wore colorful dresses and showed the importance of Teej through Giddha, Bhangra, folk songs and poems and Mehndi competitions were also organized. In which the students of the school demonstrated their art by applying Mehndi.

In her address at the school, the Principal said that Teej is the unique identity of our Punjabi culture.
