SBOP Emphasis on pension and medical insurance in the conference of retired officers

Patiala, November 17 - The State Bank of Patiala (SBOP) Retired Officers Association celebrated the mid-term conference and the 106th foundation day of the bank at the local SDSK Bhawan with great enthusiasm in which About 500 retired officers from several states participated.

KS Sandhu, general secretary of the association, said that it has been written many times about increasing the pension of the officers, but no hearing has been done so far. He also emphasized on issues like reform in medical insurance during the conference. Chief Guest Ananth Krishna Rao, who came specially from Hyderabad, spoke about the achievements of the organization. Expressing many concerns regarding the future, he said that since 1997, the pension of the bank officials has never been increased. KS Sandhu, Chief Guest and Special Guest Rama Kotaswera Rao felicitated the officers of 70 and 80 years of age. On this occasion, Finance Secretary of the organization, Yashpal Sood, presented the balance sheet, which was accepted by the officers present by raising their hands. During the conference, the chief guest and others also released the directory. The association felicitated all the participants by providing mementos.
