SAS Nagar, November 3 - People are very disturbed due to the increasing menace of stray dogs in Mohali city and surrounding area for some time now. These stray dogs bite people outside their homes every day, after which people have to go to the hospital for vaccinations.

These stray dogs camp outside people's houses where they get food (like milk, bread, biscuits, etc.).

In the local Phase 1 two or three days ago, two women were preyed upon by these stray dogs, due to which they had to go to the hospital and get stitches.

Bhupinder Kaur, a resident of HE Houses of Phase 1, said that she had just stepped out of the gate of her house when suddenly a stray dog bit her leg.

Social worker leader Khushwant Singh Ruby has demanded from the government to control these stray dogs and to take appropriate action against those who roam around with dogs in the parks. He said that these dogs come to the parks and spread dirt, due to which people have to bear hardships, so immediate action should be taken so that common people and young children can roam in the parks and their streets without worry.
