Hoshiarpur- Mahilpur Police has received news of arresting a youth with 12 drug injections. According to the information, Sub Inspector Ramandeep Kaur posted at Mahilpur Police Station under the directions of higher police officers was patrolling with her police party during the government's campaign against drugs, drug addicts and anti-social elements.
Meanwhile, when they were going from Nangal Road Mahilpur to Baghora village, they stopped a youth riding a Jupiter Scooty (without number) coming from the front.
During interrogation by the police, he revealed his name as Raj Kumar, son of Tarsem Lal, resident of Ward No. 2, Sabzi Mandi, Mahilpur. On searching him, 12 drug injections wrapped in cotton without labels were recovered from him.
In this regard, Mahilpur Police has registered a case against him under Sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act. A case has been registered under the Act and further legal action has been initiated.
