Paramjit Maan, son of Tara Singh, a resident of Barnala, a native village Rah, district Mansa, joined the Navy at an early age and went to sea.
Paramjit Mann in the treasury of literature till now, smoky mornings, burning evenings, on the sea page (poem), man of the sea; Reet de ghar (story collection), Samudranama (travel book), Bahadur women (translation) have added books. His stories have also been published in famous Hindi magazines Uttar Pradesh Nagrik, Adharshila, Kisa and Pushpagandha. The story 'Reet de Ghar' was published in Sarkari and all other stories have been published in other Punjabi magazines.

Due to this inspiration of Ankhi ji, I started writing the story. That true, great and sincere writer made me equal to the great writers in 'Kahani Punjab'. He said, "Paramjit your story is different. You are the first man to bring the theme of the sea in Punjabi literature".
