Jalandhar/Chandigarh: For the past few days, the mercury has been continuously falling in Punjab and the cold is increasing. Fog is also expected in the coming days. Following this, as per the guidelines of the government, the timings of all government schools have been changed from November 1. According to the information received, the school timings have been changed from 1 November 2023 to 28 February 2024. According to a letter issued by the Education Department, now primary schools will open at 9.00 am and will be closed at 3.00 pm. Timings for Middle, High and Senior Schools will be from 9.00 am to 3.20 pm.
