Garhshankar October 30 - On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, as part of the 'Sarkar Aavahe Duar' campaign launched to provide various government services to the people near their homes, District Administration Hoshiarpur today organized a village Possi in Sub Division Garhshankar. A public grievance redressal camp was organized at Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy, sat with the administrative officials and heard the complaints of the people of 10 villages and resolved most of them on the spot. Meanwhile, S. D. M Garhshankar Preetinder Singh Bains and other officers were also present.
   On this occasion, Deputy Speaker Rowdy said that on the orders of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, such grievance redressal camps are being organized in different villages of the state, where the problems of the people of the neighboring villages are heard and their Under this series, complaints of the people of 10 nearby villages were heard by all the departments of the district in this camp set up in the village of Posi in the Vidhan Sabha constituency Garhshankar. He said that through such grievance redressal camps, officials of all departments are reaching out to the people and solving their problems. He said that today the health, wealth, police, education, water supply and sanitation, social security, social justice of the people of Posi, Paddi Sura Singh, Kittana, Jeevanpur Gujrans, Raipur Gujrans, Emma Mughals, Nurpur Jats, Suni and Majara Dingaris villages. And complaints related to empowerment, food and supplies, drainage, mining, agriculture, transport, co-operatives, municipal council, dairy development etc. were heard and departmental officials received the applications on the spot and took appropriate action.
   Meanwhile, S. D. M Preetinder Singh Bains said that in today's grievance redressal camp, most of the complaints were settled on the spot and the complaints which were not settled on the spot, will be settled soon by the concerned department. He said that such camps will continue to be held in the district, so that people's problems can be solved close to their homes.
