Due to the heaps of filth around the city, the huge population of mosquitoes is spreading rapidly all around and that too outside the government offices. Labor Party President Jai Gopal Dhiman criticized the lies being told by the Municipal Corporation every day in the name of cleanliness. Strongly condemning Aatish Wajjian and the people for bragging about getting rid of the problem of stray animals in the city despite the efforts of the people, he said that on one hand people are falling victim to dengue and on the other hand there are heaps of filth inside the city. The abundance of garbage and accumulation of stray animals is a common sight. Dhiman said that despite raising huge taxes from the people, the Municipal Corporation is failing miserably in providing constitutional services. He said that the piles of filth are polluting the air. They are polluting in such a way and the animals are also filling their stomachs from those heaps. He said that people give the status of temples to the educational institutions but the Punjab government and its mini government are piling heaps of filth in front of those sacred institutions in order to protect the health of the city residents. Dhiman told that as usual, the heap in front of DAV College is spreading its stench for 300,300 yards and making the students and nearby shopkeepers sick. This is continuing as usual. Dhiman said that the Municipal Corporation should explain to the people the benefits of filth and stray animals and why this is being allowed to happen. This filth is making people sick and putting a heavy economic burden on them and also destroys the economic balance of the households and hence the Municipal Corporation should The corporation is completely responsible. The government should answer where the cow cess money is going. The bacteria produced from filth is so deadly that it enters the body through air and spreads asthma, cancer and skin diseases. What a shame. The thing is that the Punjab Government is rapidly promoting filth and stray animals and instead of eliminating the filth, the Health Department of the Punjab Government is wasting its time in telling the people about the types of mosquitoes. People have identified male and female mosquitoes. What to take, people want cleanliness and not heaps of gossip and lies. Dhiman appealed to the people to come forward to identify the good and the bad for themselves.
