On Wednesday, teachers expressed gratitude to former MLA Satpal Singh Raizada in a simple program in Una on the salary increase of teachers running Non-Residential Special Training (NRST) Center in the district. On 25th August, the delegation of NRST Center meet with Satpal Singh Raizada, they had requested for increase in salary, on which Satpal Raizada took immediate action and placed the demand before Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhkhu. The demand was fulfilled by the Chief Minister on Tuesday and a notification regarding salary increase was issued by the Education Department. After which the NRST delegation under the leadership of President Reena Kaur honored Satpal Singh Raizada with a shawl, cap and memento. On this occasion, Non-Residential Special Training Project Coordinator Sanjeev Thakur, Navjyoti Youth Welfare Society President Naveen Kumar , Reena, Rita Jyoti, Sushma, Rita Devi, Jyoti Rani, Anu, Renu, Gulshan, Meenakshi, Rajni, Reena, Darshana, Kavita, Alka, Poonam were present.
