One person has died and another person has been injured due to a collision between the car and the scooter of Hardev Singh Ladi 

Sherowalia, Congress MLA from Shahkot near village Jasomjara and Chak Mandera on the Banga-Phagwara National Highway

According to information received, Congress MLA from Shahkot Hardev Singh Ladi Sherowalia was going to Chandigarh for 

some work in his vehicle. So this accident happened on the way near Jasomjara and Chak Mandera at 10 am. In this accident, the 

scooter rider died on the spot. Another person riding a scooter has been admitted to the civil hospital in Banga. The deceased has 

been identified as Ram Krishna resident of Dhinda (Hoshiarpur district). While the other person Ram Prakash was seriously 

injured. The MLA admitted the injured to the Banga Civil Hospital. The police party that reached the spot has started further 

action with the CCTV footage of the accident. The MLA escaped unhurt in this accident while his car was badly damaged.
