
Retired Agriculture Technocrats Association donates Rs 4 lakh to DC for flood victims.

In this regard, members of the Retired Agriculture Technocrats Association presented a draft of Rs 4 lakh to Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain for rehabilitation and relief work towards the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

In this regard, members of the Retired Agriculture Technocrats Association presented a draft of Rs 4 lakh to Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain for rehabilitation and relief work towards the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
On this occasion, Association President Jasvir Singh Parmar and Senior Member Swatantra Kumar Airi, DA (Punjab) Retired said that the people of the flood-affected areas have lost their homes, crops and livestock. At such times, it is the moral duty of the society to provide assistance to the needy families.
They said that this contribution is a small step towards helping the flood victims get their lives back on track. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain appreciated the contribution of the association and said that in natural disasters like floods, along with government efforts, the support of social organizations and people is very important.
She assured that the funds will be used with complete transparency for the rehabilitation of the affected families and providing them with essential services. Parminder Singh Grewal, Surinder Singh, Manjit Singh, Manjhel Singh Kalkat, Sukhwinder Singh Dhillon, Kishori Lal, Deepak Adia and other members were present on the occasion. They unanimously said that difficult times can be overcome only with mutual cooperation and human compassion.
