Nawanshahr- Hindi teacher Narinder Kaur retired from Government High School Alachor of nearby village Alachor. A grand party was given by the school staff and students on her retirement. A cultural program was presented by the school students.
On this occasion, retired head teacher Sarwan Singh while addressing said that Narinder Kaur was always dedicated to her work and her result in Hindi was always 100%. Madam Ritu Sareen and Sandeep Kaur jointly read the letter of appreciation of Narinder Kaur. On behalf of the SMC committee, Des Raj Bali said that the good results and dedication towards the students during the teacher's tenure will be remembered for a long time. The role of stage secretary was played by state awardee teacher Dimpy Khurana.
The entire school staff and teachers of other schools honored Narinder Kaur by giving her special gifts. Narinder Kaur donated an amount of Rs 21 thousand to the school and honored all the children, mid-day meal workers and fourth class employees of the school by giving them refreshments.
