35 students of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Academy and Shamrock Senior Secondary School have been successful in NDA this year. Praneet Sohal, principal of Shamrock Senior Secondary School, said that 45 students of Shamrock School had appeared in this examination, out of which 35 have been successful.
On this occasion, Director of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Academy Major General (Retd.) H Chauhan said that about three lakh candidates from all over India had given this exam for NDA. He said, of course, in every state of the country, military schools and private institutions prepare for NDA on a large scale, but so far, so many students of any institution have not succeeded together, which is a record.
He said that in view of the dwindling number of Punjabis in the army, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal started this academy in April, 2011 and so far with this effort, 141 soldiers of Punjab have joined as officers in the army of the country. are serving
Chairman of Shamrock School, AS Bajwa, while giving information about the background of the passing out students, said that most of these 35 students belong to small towns or rural areas, who cannot even imagine this kind of success while living in their own areas.
