Under the direction of Education Department Punjab and under the guidance of District Education Officer and Block Primary Education Officer, Government Elementary School Garhi Mansowal dedicated to the Amrit Mahautsav of Independence Meri Mitti - Mera Desh by Head Teacher Mrs. Arti Chandel. A rally was organized by the school staff and students under the leadership. In which flowers of devotion were presented to martyrs, freedom fighters and martyred soldiers. On this occasion, the school children took out a rally in the entire village holding the tricolor flag and slogans of love for the country. Students, teachers and school management committee members participated in the rally. The head teacher Mrs. Aarti Chandel thanked those who participated in the rally. The school students made the villagers aware of love for the country with choreography, patriotic songs and plays. On this occasion Master Ashwani Kumar, Master Jaswinder Singh, Master Harpreet Singh, Madam Kiran, Gurpreet Kaur, Suman Devi, Mamta Rani, Joginder Singh etc. were present
