Una, August 14 - The 24th annual Gayan Darbar and Bhandaara was organized by the Khwaja Khijjar Zinda Peer Fleet Committee Santoshgarh in Santoshgarh town of Una district on August 12-13 at the Khwaja Peer Temple, Santoshgarh. The chief sevadar of the Khwaja Peer Temple, Gaddinshin Aashiqe Khwaja Krishna Sai Ji, Pradhan Rajinder Jhall, Vice-President Jugal Kishore jointly informed that this religious program is organized every year as a special festival.

The program began with a procession on Tuesday, August 12. A huge procession started from Ajouli Shiv Temple and reached Santoshgarh town via Ajouli, Poona, Binewal, Mazara, Sanoli. A Bhandaara was organized at night. After this, the famous Qawwals of Punjab paid their respects at the court of Khwaja Peer ji. Ishrat Ghulam Ali Qawwal of Malerkotla sang praises of Khwaja Peer ji through his Qawwalis. He mesmerized everyone by presenting one Sufi bhajan after another. During this, the mehndi ceremony was performed at 12 midnight.
On 13th August, at 9 am, the flag and throne ceremony was performed by the committee. After this, a singing court and a feast were organized. In which the famous artists of Punjab, Happy Shahwaz, Kittu Nangal, Shonky etc. mesmerized everyone and forced them to dance and sway by presenting one Sufi bhajan after another. At 6 pm, the raft was launched in the Swan river with full rituals and joy.
On this occasion, Rajinder, Jugal Kishore, Shiv Kumar, Pankaj Billa, Mahadev, Billa Nangran, Shiv Nangran, Sham, Happy, Karthik, Gauri, Rohit, Hukma, Bhashu, Bansh, Himanshu, Babu, Raj Kumar, Sagar, Dhanu, Karna Vavla, Vijay Una, Pankaj Chaudhary, Sukhwinder, Abhishek, Anku, Harsh, Kala, Honey, Kannu, Tanishq, Tushar, other sevadars and thousands of devotees were present.
