During which, eminent social worker and President of Sri Guru Ravidas Santokh Sabha Mahendra Singh Badungar participated specially.

On this occasion, various performances of folk dance Giddha were given by women who arrived in Punjabi attire. On this occasion, President Mahendra Singh Badungar said that Teej festival reflects our values and civilization.

While many festivals related to Punjab are celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm, Teej has a special significance among them, which is a festival full of joy for women. This festival is also about preserving cultural respect and heritage and which also gives a message of happiness, strengthening of brotherhood and unity everywhere.
On this occasion, Jaswant Kaur Sonia, President of Nari Shakti Ekjut Manch, said that the organization organizes joint events on various special days. She said that although we have many responsibilities and engagements, but despite this, it is our moral and social responsibility to continue making efforts to celebrate festivals on our special days so that our future generation can get maximum information about Punjabi heritage and culture.
