Mahilpur- After winning the by-election, MLA Chabbewal Dr. Ishan Kumar is seen very active in his constituency. He goes to the villages of the constituency, establishes contact with the villagers, knows their problems and works to solve them. Recently, the Panchayat of village Bahowal visited Dr. Ishan at his residence and discussed with him. Other dignitaries of the village were also present along with the Panchayat.
Everyone thanked MLA Dr. Ishan for participating as the chief guest in the village football tournament and presented him a badge of honour. Dr. Ishan also solved the problem of tubewell motor of the village farmers, which was going on for some time, by installing a new motor, for which the land owners of the village praised him a lot.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Hardeep Singh Thekedar also placed some demands related to other development works of the village before the MLA, which include laying sewerage in the village, building a gym as well as upgrading the football ground of the village. He proposed to put a net around the ground so that the animals do not damage the ground. The villagers also demanded the repair of the road going from Bahowal to Baba Jakh Wala Ji's Dargah.
Dr. Ishank assured to fulfill these demands of Bahowal residents as soon as possible and thanked them for being honored by the Panchayat. Dr. Ishank said that development of every village of his constituency Chabbewal is his priority and he is committed to fulfill every promise made by him. Panch Narinder Kaur, Panch Sukhwinder Kaur, Panch Balveer Kaur, Kasturi Ram, Amrik Singh, Anmol Bains etc were present on this occasion.
