Patiala- The Patiala branch of the Ananda Marga Pracharak Sangh organized a three-day Sadhana Camp from 18th to 20th July 2025 at the Ananda Marga Complex, Gurbaksh Colony, in front of Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Temple, Patiala.
This camp was not only an opportunity for the sadhakas to engage in deep spiritual practice but also conveyed a message of morality, service, and spiritual awakening in society.
The camp included collective meditation, yoga practice, discourses, kirtan, service activities, and motivational dialogue sessions for the youth. The objective was to awaken spiritual consciousness, connect youth with yoga, and promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle in the local community.
Senior Acharyas of the organization—Acharya Vadananda Avadhuta, Acharya Shubhamitrananda Avadhuta, Acharya Teerthvedananda Avadhuta, Avadhutika Anandavishuddha Acharya, Avadhutika Anand Keerti Lekha Acharya, Acharya Dev Nitrananda Avadhuta—and sadhakas from Punjab participated in the seminar.
In today's times, when society is facing internal and external conflicts, institutions like Ananda Marga inspire a return to spirituality and goodwill. The participation of media representatives in this sacred initiative can help take its message to the wider public.
Everyone is warmly welcomed. Let us witness this constructive and spiritual campaign together.
Senior Avadhutas, Avadhutikas, and over 200 sadhakas from Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh participated in the seminar.
During the seminar, an unbroken kirtan of the mantra "Baba Nam Kevalam" was held, which was emotional and blissful. Acharya Teerthvedananda Avadhuta explained that the Supreme Being is not a body but a personal feeling of love that grants infinite bliss and is the ultimate goal of every individual’s life. Kirtan plays a significant role in attaining this. He further shared that the place where kirtan happens is where God resides, because it is He who is being praised.
In the Svadhyaya (self-study) session, it was explained that a person only needs the grace of the Supreme, which can be easily obtained through kirtan. Once this grace is attained, one gets everything.
While conducting seminar classes, Acharya Vandanananda Avadhuta shared that today Ananda Marga is working in all countries across the world, and its primary goal is the creation of a beautiful and strong human society. To achieve this, there is a need for noble individuals, and this path helps in creating such moral and refined humans. A society in which not only humans, but also animals, plants, trees, and even inanimate beings are treated with care and not harmed or excessively exploited.
The mission of the organization is "Aatma Mokshartham, Jagat Hitaya Cha"—attaining self-liberation and working for the welfare of the world. Through Ashtanga Yoga, it aims to make individuals inwardly beautiful and strong, and to awaken the spirit of cooperative harmony through service, so that no one ever feels alone or helpless, and everyone moves cheerfully toward the goal of life—singing, dancing, and smiling.
Such programs prove highly effective for the welfare of individuals and society, and they should continue so that good human beings are nurtured and social development is achieved.
On the successful completion of the program, N.K. Jolly, Dr. Surjeet Verma, Ravinder Thakur, Jai Chand Saini, Chanchal, Dharamveer Sharma, and Rajneesh Verma (President) extended thanks to all the attendees.
