Hoshiarpur- A special meeting of Block Kot Fatuhi's Purani Pension Bahalti Sangharsh Samiti and Rajkiya Shikshak Sangh was held in Kot Fatuhi under the leadership of Block President Narinder Ajanoha, General Secretary Omkar Singh and Harmanoj Kumar. District leader of Rajkiya Shikshak Sangh Pawan Goyal was specially present in this meeting.
In their address, the leaders said that the decision of Chhattisgarh government to stop old pension under the pressure of Modi government at the center is extremely unfortunate. The leaders said that the central government is forcibly imposing the unified pension scheme on the states, which is a blow to the employees, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The leaders said that the slogan of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" of the central government has proved to be an air strike only.
The leaders said that the government is only doing its own development by taking old pension. He said that the central government should stop threatening the states to implement the unified pension scheme and by stopping the unified pension scheme, the Modi government should implement old pension for two lakh NPS employees of Punjab as per the rules of 1972.
