
Government Teachers Union adopted the path of struggle to resolve the legitimate and reasonable demands of teachers.
Hoshiarpur- Government Teachers Union Punjab District Hoshiarpur unit gathered a large number of teachers under the leadership of District President Principal Amandeep Sharma, General Secretary Jasvir Talwara, Senior Vice President Lecturer Amar Singh and Pritpal Singh Chautala and sent a demand letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab and Education Minister of Punjab through District Education Officer (SC/EC) Hoshiarpur to accept the important and reasonable demands of the teacher community.

Giving information on this occasion, the leaders of the organization said that the government has given a demand letter to ensure the fulfillment of major demands like releasing the salary, fund advance and other bills including GP to the teachers on the same date of the month, normalizing the decisions taken in favor of various recruitments and teachers, immediately releasing the pending dues in the above cases of teachers, immediately cancelling the restructured lists like 3704 and 6635, stopping political interference in the formation of school management committees, expediting the remaining promotions of various cadres.
Speaking, the teacher leaders said that if the government continues to ignore the legitimate demands of the teacher community, then a series of intense and serial struggles will be started soon.
