Government's special focus on recruitment of doctors - Aarti Singh Rao.

Chandigarh, July 19 - Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the Haryana Government is committed to quickly meet the shortage of doctors in the state. The government is focusing special attention on the recruitment of doctors and the recruitment process is going on in a planned manner in this direction.

Chandigarh, July 19 - Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the Haryana Government is committed to quickly meet the shortage of doctors in the state. The government is focusing special attention on the recruitment of doctors and the recruitment process is going on in a planned manner in this direction.
He said this while addressing a program organized in Kheri and Navadi villages of Ateli assembly constituency today.
The Health Minister said that providing quality health services to every citizen of the state is the top priority of the government. To achieve this goal, the Health Department is continuously recruiting new doctors, so that health services can be strengthened in both rural and urban areas. He said that the government is ensuring that the recruitment process is transparent and fast so that qualified doctors can start providing their services as soon as possible.
Giving information about the PHC running in the building of Gram Panchayat Kanti, he said that its approval has been received. Now this land has been transferred to the name of the Health Department. The file will be submitted to the Chief Architect after getting it marked in the next week. She herself is continuously monitoring this matter closely.
Apart from this, the Health Minister said that as per the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission, new buildings will be constructed for sub-health centers in Tigra, Bajar, Bihali and Mohla villages of Ateli block. These sub-health centers will improve primary health services in rural areas. The people of these villages will get facilities like basic health check-up, vaccination, post-natal care and treatment for common diseases close to their homes. They will have less need to go to far away big hospitals or primary health centers.
On this occasion, the Health Minister also interacted with the local villagers and listened to their problems. He announced to give Rs. 10 lakh to the Panchayat of Kheri village for development works. At the same time, under the campaign "A tree in the name of mother" in Kheri village, the Health Minister gave the message of protecting the environment by planting saplings.
