Una, July 17- Special children and staff of Prem Ashram School Una met Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Thursday and expressed their gratitude for the free transport facility provided recently by the district administration.
This facility was made available on the occasion of a special screening of the film 'Sitare Zameen Par' organized by Prem Ashram for children at Gulmohar Cinema Hall in Mehatpur, in which this inspirational film made keeping the disabled children at the center was shown. Special arrangements for transportation were made by the district administration for the children, due to which the children enjoyed this experience with joy and happiness.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the children in a friendly manner and expressed deep satisfaction on seeing the happiness on their faces. He said that giving support and respect to every section of the society, especially the disabled, is the true direction of inclusive development.
While praising the work being done by Prem Ashram for special children, he said that the district administration will provide all possible support in such efforts in future as well. The Deputy Commissioner said that these children are a source of inspiration for the society and it is our collective responsibility to provide a positive, inclusive and supportive environment for them.
