Chandigarh: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann convened a high-level meeting on Punjab's law and order. This meeting was chaired by Chief CM Mann. This meeting was held today at the Chief Minister's residence in Chandigarh.
DGP Gaurav Yadav and other senior police officers were present in the meeting. The Chief Minister sought a report from the officers on the current law and order situation in the state. The Chief Minister ordered that all arrangements be made to maintain a safe environment in the state.
Strategy made on every issue in the meeting
According to information, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann convened this meeting at a time when the opposition is continuously besieging the government on the issue of law and order. The opposition had also raised this issue in a special session.
In such a situation, the Chief Minister has become serious about this matter. Eight new DGPs were also present in this meeting, who have been given the responsibility recently. The Chief Minister made it clear that this matter should be taken seriously. The Chief Minister ordered that complete arrangements be made to maintain a safe environment in the state.
