Chandigarh, July 17 - Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Mr. Rao Narbir Singh has directed the officers of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation that the corporation should work by focusing on its value target. He clarified that the main goal of the corporation is to provide modern industrial infrastructure in the state and dedicated efforts should be made towards this goal.
Mr. Rao Narbir Singh gave these instructions during a review meeting organized with the corporation officers recently. He said that under the Haryana Land Partnership Policy-2022, farmers and rural people should be made aware that HSIIDC will develop half of the land given to them and make the landowners partners. In this process, a comprehensive public awareness campaign should be conducted by taking the services of professional agencies so that the people can be given a clear understanding of the functioning of the corporation.
The Industries Minister told the officials that Gurugram has now become the first choice of global companies. Due to this, industrial activities are expanding rapidly in areas like Sohna, Manesar and Bawal. For this, a program should be organized to lay the foundation stone of this connection center on the occasion of Haryana Day on November 1, by marking the land of the Municipal Corporation located in Sector-65 of New Gurugram.
The Minister said that construction of a rest house with high quality and modern facilities should be ensured in every IMT (Industrial Model Township) of HSIIDC so that industry representatives and visitors can stay there.
He stressed on developing maximum green belts in all the industrial properties of the corporation under the Harit Haryana Abhiyan. He also directed that the footpaths made of these green belts should be paved with tiles, so that there is no obstacle in the natural water storage.
Shri Rao Narbir Singh said that the 135 km long Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway is a very important asset of HSIIDC. A special action plan should be prepared for its maintenance and beautification. He directed that a special plantation drive should be carried out on both sides of KMP and solar powered pumps should be installed at a distance of every 5 to 10 km, so that irrigation of plants can be ensured after the rains.
He also said that there is an urgent need to construct the Manesar to Palwal section of KMP Expressway for which the tender process should be started soon.
