Nawanshahr- With the infinite grace of Lord Shri Ram Ji and the holy blessings of Pujya Maharaj Bhagat Hans Raj Ji (father), Guru Puja was celebrated with full devotion with satsang and prayer meeting at the local Shri Ram Sharanam temple Lal Chowk Nawanshahr. Giving information, Chief Sevadar Dr. JD Verma said that Maharaj Ji has explained to us that until we do not surrender ourselves completely at the feet of the Guru, we cannot become eligible for Guru's grace.
Maharaj Ji has said that we should have only one Guru and should greet everyone. This will not lead to distraction in life. Maharaj Ji has said that whenever you want to ask for something, you should ask from your Guru. He said that nowadays it is not impossible to find a true Guru, but it is definitely difficult.
He said that the one whose darshan we wish to have again and again, the one with whom we always yearn to sit and whose blessings remain in our mind, is the identity of a true Guru. A true Guru does not take anything from his disciples, but always wishes to give them something. In "Shri Valmiki Ramayan Saar" written by Swami Satyanand Maharaj Ji, Maharaj Ji has written that "Guruvar is also a source of happiness, he becomes a father and a brother".
Disciples are known by their caste, they stay away from each other." In the end, Dr. Verma thanked all the devotees who had come with this statement of Maharaj Ji that "If I sat in the shelter of a true saint, I got rest, if the mind sought fruit, I got it by chanting the name of Ram". On this occasion, a large number of devotees were present in the satsang.
